@5DUNE AND IT`S SEQUELS
=====================
@1
Most of the sequels are pretty huge with the exception
of the original follow up.
The second in the sequence is called Dune Messiah.
They're all based on the planet Arrakis and follow the fortunes
of Paul Atreides.
Of course he becomes something else altogether in mind and body,
a sort of power corrupts analogy.
Arrakis is also transformed into a green and pleasant land.
I ploughed through them all at a fair rate of knots when I
first read Dune and didn't slow down until I reached Heretics of Dune
(the 5th book).
The sequence is
@4Dune
Dune Messiah
Children of Dune
God Emperor of Dune
Heretics of Dune
Chapter House Dune

The sequels are all much lesser entities than Dune itself but I
feel they're worth reading to hold on to some of that initial
magic surrounding the Paul Atreides character.
